Job Overview

The airline’s Compliance Monitoring Department ensures adherence to EASA regulations, industry standards, and internal procedures. It oversees Part-CAMO compliance, maintaining safety in continuing airworthiness activities.

Reporting to the Compliance Monitoring Manager, the role involves conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments to verify compliance with the CAME and maintenance contracts. The candidate will identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement in safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Airworthiness & Maintenance Audits: Perform audits in accordance with the organization’s audit schedule to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • IOSA Compliance: Execute Internal IOSA Audits to support the renewal of IOSA registration and maintain adherence to required standards.
  • Audit Program Management: Develop, maintain, and review the audit program, including compliance checklists, to ensure thorough and effective monitoring.
  • Compliance Guidance: Collaborate with internal departments to address compliance issues and provide expert guidance as needed.
  • Corrective Action Oversight: Coordinate action plans in response to audit findings, verifying the implementation of corrective measures to resolve non-conformities.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Review and assess changes in aviation legislation and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for management, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate compliance-related incidents and produce comprehensive reports as required.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) and other regulatory bodies on compliance matters.
  • Aircraft Registration Management: Oversee aircraft registration and de-registration processes to ensure proper documentation and regulatory adherence.
  • Training Program Assessment: Evaluate training programs related to compliance monitoring and regulatory requirements to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Aircraft Inspections & Records Review: Perform aircraft product audits, inspect aircraft, and review records to support the renewal of airworthiness review certificates.

Candidates Should Possess;

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position.
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of airworthiness regulation & structure (EASA Part-CAMO, Part-M, and Part-145)

It would be advantageous for candidates to possess the following

  • A relevant aeronautical degree or an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence / Certifying experience in Part 145 line / base maintenance environment
  • Have successfully completed a recognised formal Internal or Lead auditor training programme
